Dining:

This was a tough one! When we sat down to make this list, we really had to narrow it down to our very favorites. We strongly suggest that guest do their own research – especially in Mount Pleasant and Charleston. There are just too many wonderful places to go. In the last 20 years, Charleston has turned into quite the Foodie City with so many fabulous restaurants that it would be impossible to list them all. If you are looking for something in particular, please ask us and we will be happy to give you our recommendations.

Isle of Palms – These are our favorites

Long Island Café

Great food. While located in a strip mall, and with very little ambiance, you do need a reservation simply because this place is so popular

Morgan Creek Grill

Great for families. Very busy in the summer. Food is very typical for a seaside restaurant, but popular for large families

Coda Del Pesce

Gourmet Italian - Closer to fine dining – more intimate.

Huey’s Southern Eats

If looking inside Wild Dunes – this is our favorite for a casual lunch for the whole family

Mount Pleasant

Crave

While located in a strip mall and décor is pretty basic, the food is fabulous. A BIG local favorite

Tavern and Table

Located on Shem Creek – this is upscale casual at it’s best. If you are adventuresome, always try the daily grind hamburger (no matter how strange it sounds, you can count on it being delicious!) For those less adventuresome, everything else is great!

Pages Okra Grill

Best breakfast and brunch in Charleston area – for the whole family

FIG

Lives up to it’s name _ Food Is Good. Small restaurant – no more than 6 per reservation

Doar Bros

Best bar in Charleston for handcrafted cocktails (also a great wine list) and small plates are fabulous. Newly opened in November 2018, they are creating quite the following. Head bartender, Meagan, has won best bartender in Charleston several years running and never disappoints! This is a real treat!

Sullivan’s Island

Obstinate Daughter

Call for reservations as soon as you book your house. Very much in demand reservations
